The Greek Mathematician and Philosopher “Archimedes” (287 BC — 212 BC) is well known as the Father of Mathematics. Because of his contribution, reputation, accomplishment and his main role in the development of mathematics, he is considered as “The Father Of Mathematics”. He invested his entire life in learning about physics, mathematics, politics, military strategies and poetry. He has great interest in mathematical equations and problem solving queries.

He plays a very significant role in the defence of Syracuse, Italy in opposition to the Roman siege. He build the war machines that were so powerful they greatly delayed the defeat of the city in 213 BCE. He was murdered in the city’s sacking when Syracuse eventually fell to the Roman general Marcus Claudius Marcellus in the fall of 212 or the spring of 211 BCE.
