Fwb With A Narcissist?

So, the narcissist viciously dumped you, or you ended the travesty you called a relationship.

But, joy oh joy, the narcissist proposes a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Let’s talk about “Mary”.

Mary decided that she’d take the narcissist up on his proposal.

Of course, as we all know, that choice was guided by the need to keep the narcissist in her life.

Anyway, Mary embarked on her journey of being a friend with benefits.

She was emotionally attached to the narcissist, so how could she not accept the tiny sliver of attention that she was granted.

Hardly noticing a difference, because it’s not like she was showered with attention before, Mary was fine.

Practically nothing changed.

They had sex and Mary still had her narcissist.

Still, nothing had changed, the narcissist was doing all that before the break-up too.

But when Mary, still emotionally attached, asked the narcissist why he’s so intent on hurting her feelings (still, nothing had changed, she had asked this question many times before), the narcissist replied that her feelings shouldn’t be hurt by this at all.

Mary, dumbfounded, asked if he could please refrain from texting and talking to other women in her presence.

He then explained that she had lost all rights to make any requests regarding his behavior.
