Getting Started with Mente Autism

This device has been celebrated for its ability to alleviate behavioral issues and improve how the child navigates through the world. The result after using Mente Autism therapy and engaging in consistent sessions is a pivotal improvement in the child’s mental health, comfort, and happiness.

Mente is intended for children on the Autism Spectrum. The primary ages deemed suitable for introduction to the device is between 3 and 12 years of age. Some criteria must be met to qualify for the device. To assist with the assessment, we have developed a questionnaire as an aid to confirm the child’s standing. However, if considered unsuitable, parents and caregivers can reach out to their medical professional where a qEEG can be performed as a secondary assessment.

When & How Do I Approach First Sessions?

The best time to perform the 40-minute session is in the morning. Before commencing, ensure that the device has enough charge so that it can function for the duration of use. When your child places the headband on their head, all five sensors must come in contact with their scalp. Next, connect the earphones; put them in the child’s ear, or have them do it, then open the app, pair it with the device, and start the session. Once complete, the system will stop, and a report will be generated.
